I’m a G1 fan and, to be honest, even though Bay changed a lot I loved the movie. I felt as though he tried to be as authentic as possible to please the fanboys (and girls) while also attempting to entertain the general population. I love the movie and I felt as though while there may be some things that aren’t carried over from the original cartoon, the absence of these things does not detract from the experience.

you sound like a g1 fan should be thankful. if he’s going to remake something after the original he suppose to cater to the transfomer fan because we are the ones who made the show popular so he can remake it years later without the tranfomer fan of the 80’s making this show popular there is no movie remember this.

man this is a kids show for kids its supposed to be unrealistic lets not get so politicaly correct lets enjoy it for what it was a kid show. Sometimes people(myself included) get caught up in the adult world that we see things for what it is as adults instead of what it was as kids. pls remember this

You know one thing I always wondered, how does a man who works on an oil tanker in U.S. territory know about the diamond mines in Burma, which for anyone who doesn’t have a map is between China and India, though the autobots seemed to have no trouble DRIVING THERE!!
