Cause theres 3 times as many autobots over the course of the series. Outside of the combiner teams up to season 3,really was just megatron, soundwave/tapes , and all jets. They couldnt afford have too many casaulties. If all autobots ever took the field at once, they d horriblty roadkilled the decepticons. That wipeout from autobot city should never happened for that reason as they were just so outnumbered. But for no reason you never saw them again.like skyfire or omega supreme who would pwned
