I got me two Optimus Primes 20th anniversary non DVD editions, at different auctions, total price with shipping for the both of them was $252, I will open one up for display and replaced the smokes stacks for longer ones, cromed of course and the other one I wii keep it MISB

i remember in school back in 84 i think one of my classmates had a g1 prime and it was the coolest thing ever, kids gathered round to see it

I have been searching for the voyager classics of both f them but can not seem to find one in stores. But all the stores around where i live the stock is pretty well sold out. I’m not sure if places like walmart or toys r us even carry them here.. i live in a small town in new brunswick canada. we pretty much miss out on everything. i was surprised to see any of the universe line here at all. i’m a huge g1 fan so classics are pretty much the only ones i’m interested in owning.

thats what the MP is selling for now??? ouch… I got mine for 68 when they still sold him in Wal Mart.

Dont knwo that they would make a new Optimus or megatron seeing as hwo there is already the voyager classics of both of them. Would really go more for a new voyager or Ultra Tank megatron though. Somehting like Armada megatron wut with better poseability. (aka give it atleast knees)

Awesome review. I agree on the price. This to me seems kind of a crappy version of Optimus Prime. I owned an original Optimus when i was a kid and bought it with my allowance. The comic i can see raising the price a little for, and the dvd of episodes you can watch on youtube or download is pretty well useless in my opinion. And $300 for the mp is a little too much for me. I would like to see a version of both Optimus and Megraton in the universe deluxe line.

I hope they rerelease the masterpiece prime aain I was unemployed when he came out and now he is just rediculous. I’ve got starscream, just got megs cheap and willhave grimlock since he is one of my favorites. I just gotta find a prime that won’t cost 250+ dollars
