Как оказалось, Майкл Бэй (Michael Bay) не любит слишком худых женщин, считая их непривлекательными.

Ввиду этого, режиссер второй части «Трансформеров» («Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen») поставил актрисе Мэган Фокс (Megan Fox) настоящий ультиматум: либо девушка набирает, по меньшей мере, пять килограмм веса, либо звезду оригинального фильма во второй картине заменят.

Несмотря на то, что 22-летняя Фокс недавно была названа самой красивой знаменитостью по версии «FHM», теперь актрисе приходится «отъедаться», чтобы не потерять роль в фильме, съемки которого начнутся уже меньше, чем через месяц.

Would you pay to watch the Simpsons in the theater

The Simpsons are a classic, and many fans are eager to see the movie, WHICH THEY HAVE BEEN ADVERTISING FOR MONTHS. That has got to be a pet peeve. Finally, after trying to avoid trailers and numerous commercials to avoid seeing too much plot, the movie comes out. Worth the ticket price? It was to me, but than I was desperate to get out of the house. I still loved it, though.

I heard a lot of people in the audience laughing beside me, and really, I have seen other bombs with more hype that failed to elicit even a chuckle among the yawns. Simpsons the movie was well worth the price, just for the laughs alone.

And it was a good movie. Unfortunately people expect more, almost too much, out of movies compared to tv series. A movie should not always have to cut new ground. Simpsons the movie was funny, hilarious, and great. I loved it. But it might fail simply because people expect too much.

Many movies try top push the envelope, or thrill us, or just offer too much (Transformers. I’ve heard the action goes too fast to tell autobot from decepticon.) But Simpsons the movie is just as good as the episodes. The plot is the length of the movie and the artwork is pretty good and the music was great.

The plot was not quite predictable in most places, though some jokes could be guessed at by different people. The characters are just like the tv, which is great if you know who Flanders is, and why Homer is such a lousy father. Simpsons the movie doesn’t offer the explanations, just assume we all know Lisa Simpson is a preachy busybody, and that Burns is rich and owner of the nuclear power plant. No surprise to Simpsons fans everywhere, and the movie does not reveal great huge secrets, but who cares? Simpsons the movie, to me, was worth the ticket price. Yes, we see it free on tv, but not in surround sound, huge, and full length. And many movies come out on tv if you wait long enough; If that is your criteria for seeing a good move, well, almost none would make the grade.
