Best Selling Film DVDs Of 2007

The invasion of DVDs has made people go ‘gaga’ over the quality of home entertainment. Producers and distributors of the films that were earlier printed on CD, now have gone on to put their films on DVD and Blu-ray disks. All the best selling film DVDs of 2007 have come out to be a huge hit all over the world.

One of the favorite jobs of the movie buffs, is to know the hit list that has topped the market both commercially and popularly. One of the main indexes of a popular film is that it has to be commercially successful. If the film were economically viable, it would also be a hit in the box office. Nowadays, the spread of mass media in every form of entertainment has provided some cost cushion for the distributors. Almost all the best selling film DVDs of 2007 have fallen under this headrest.

Now, the distributors are not limited to getting their revenues from the ticket selling only. There are DVD and CD packaging, overseas marketing, selling of Audio rights, and online film viewing. A trailer on the Internet publicizes the film quite a lot in the pre release market. There are other promotional activities also.

A film like “Transformers”, which topped the chart in both rental, and Box office is also a hit in the toy market. It has been in one of the best selling film DVDs of 2007. There have been all sorts of Transformers merchandise; toys, caps, t-shirts, guns, window valance, poster, comforter, party mask, lunch plates, communicator, monopoly games and everything.

‘Transformers’ is a retro cartoon, which became an instant hit when it came on to strike the big screen in 2007 as a live action film. In 1986, The Transformers, the Movie was the first full length film based on the cartoon series. The story of Transformers goes like this; it is the fight between two robotic clans. One is the good Autobots another is the evil Deceptions. The two giant robotic clans posed a great threat to earth. It was left for the hero, a teenage boy two save the day.

One of the best selling film DVDs of 2007 was” Chicago”. It was a huge success both on DVD and the rental chart. Not only the sales were on high but it also was listed on the Top 10 chart some time or the other.

‘The Hunted’, ‘Finding Nemo’, ‘The Matrix Reloaded’, ‘Bourne Ultimatum’, ‘The Lord of the Rings-The Two Towers’, ‘Stitch, the Movie’, ‘Live Free or Die Hard,’ ‘Shrek the Third’, ‘Ocean’s Thirteen’, ‘Spiderman 3′, ‘Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer’ and ‘Ratatouille’ are some of the hits of 2007.

All the above-mentioned films have made good business in box office, which propelled the success story in DVD market also. One of the problems with film DVD selling is piracy. Film pirates are now ripping off DVDs to an Xvid rip of 700 MB and distributing over the Internet for free.

Rippers target the current year released films. For example, Scene releasers would take on the best selling film DVDs of 2007, and rip them to high quality AVI, MP4 or MKV files.

The size of a single channel DVD is around 4.7 GB. The average data rate is around 8 MBit/s for the video. However, when the film is ripped in compression Codecs like Xvid, DivX or x264 the quality is reduced by mere 20%, with file size coming down under 1.5 GB. This is acceptable for all the downloaders who are getting to see old and new releases in awesome quality without having to pay any money at all.

Spiritual Themes in Transformers the Movie

May 21, 2009 by Megatron

Movie Prologue: “Before time began, there was the Cube. We know not where it comes from, only that it holds the power to create worlds, and fill them with life. That is how our race was born…”

The creators of Transformers chose a cube as a supernatural life-source, or “All-Spark.” This is flawed from the outset because this is only an arbitrary shape. A cube is definable and understandable to the human mind, which proves that a human came up with it. The All-Spark is also flawed because its vulnerable to the same creatures it created. It has a lower consciousness than the creatures it created. Not only can it be manipulated by its creation, it can be destroyed by its creation. This is not supernatural or divine. That which ends up flawed must have been flawed in the first place and therefore could not be a transcendent, divine Source of life or whole worlds.

However the creators of Transformers did right by pointing out the divine genius of biology. They were smart to apply biological complexity to robots. Flesh is not terribly different from metal. Both flesh and metal come from the ground. They are both made from minerals. Either flesh or metal might carry around life, depending on the Creator’s choice. Metal happens to be simpler… simple enough for humans to mold and manipulate into machines. Machines resemble the life God created they require creativity and deliberate engineering to make them work. They only lack that one mysterious element that humans will never be able to conjure up on their own: Life.

Any biologist who takes a minute to contemplate their profession will admit that life, or the origin of life, is truly mysterious. Only God, who is supernatural, holy, eternal and omnipotent, could invent this. Do you see how creative life is? He invented life before life existed. We think we’re smart for manipulating the biological systems that God put in place, but He invented life, and biology for that matter. He also decided that we should have the capacity to manipulate life. God demonstrates his divinity by bringing into existence that which did not previously exist. We mortals can only come up with revised versions of the reality that already exists. Someone who twists reality better than most might be considered creative (such as an abstract artist). But God is the Author of the concept of creativity. You can’t beat that.

The origin of life must be supernatural. There must be something to spark life into lifeless dirt or metal. Life, especially consciousness, is an inexplicable mystery.

There might be computerized artificial intelligence, but there cannot be artificial life, or artificial consciousness. Computers can do what humans tell them to do, which is a limited kind of intelligence; they might even “learn” to make decisions on their own one of these days. But life is something beyond microchips and hard drives. A man who was given life cannot invent something beyond life. All miraculous authority is reserved by the Divine One, the Original, the Originator.

Notice how the people who deny God suppose that life is nothing more than complex, biological mechanisms. With such a limited understanding of life a man might spend his whole life welding silicon and metal together in a vain attempt to create new life. This man might come up with a more-fancy-than-average computer, but his metal and silicon will never attain to consciousness.

We can’t crack open a person to find their consciousness the same way a clock maker cracks open a clock to see its inner mechanisms, and yet we admit that we are conscious. Yes, our bodies are made of biological mechanisms, but these mechanisms in themselves do not make us valuable. Our inherent is a spiritual trait that God instilled in us. Therefore people who don’t know God would like permission to throw away the lives of people who are crippled or flawed in some obvious way, because they don’t understand what makes people valuable. The further our society strays from God, the more acceptable it will be to throw away peoples lives because they are either too young or too old or because they don’t seem productive enough. If we were machines, then our inherent value would be dictated by our measurable productivity. But God continually demonstrates the fact that our value is something immeasurable by all human standards. As long as we are anywhere near God we will remember that human life is precious in itself.

Do You Want to Download Transformers the Movie? Here’s How!

Even before Transformers the Movie came out in theatres in many parts of the world, everybody had already been practically talking about it. Indeed, its spectacular visual and audio effects were guaranteed to leave you awestruck and wanting to watch it over and over again. So, if you haven’t watched it in the movie theatre, you have definitely missed a lot! Fortunately, there’s still a chance for you to watch the movie and see for yourself why everyone’s just crazy about it. You can buy a DVD, or if you have a computer, you can download Transformers the Movie into your pc.

Perhaps, though, you may be a bit concerned about viruses, spyware and adware, and all the bad stuffs that usually come with downloads. Not all downloads contain malicious spyware and adware. In fact, if you download Transformers the Movie from a legitimate site, you are certain that your computer system will not be infected by the dreaded spyware.

Before you begin to download Transformers the Movie, there are several things you need to have. First and foremost is the obvious — you will need a computer, preferably with a large amount of space, because movie files usually have large space requirements.

Then, you will need an internet connection to enable you to download Transformers the Movie into your pc. Whether you opt for a high-speed internet connection like DSL or Broadband or for a dial-up connection is not of particular importance. However, if you want faster downloads, then high-speed internet connection will give that to you.

Lastly, you must have a membership in a legitimate site that offers downloading services. Legitimate sites always require a certain fee — that’s a given. Some charge a one-time membership fee, an annual fee or a monthly subscription, while others may charge you for every download that you make. A wise choice is to go for a one-time membership fee because it is less expensive in the long run, plus you get unlimited access to movies, not just one.

An important thing to consider before you download Transformers the Movie is that the site must not only be legitimate, it has to be of good quality as well. Good quality sites often have an efficient technical support system, a secured payment system, and high quality and updated movie files.

The internet has an abundance of free sites that will also let you make a full download of movies, like Transformers the Movie. However, these free sites often do not have the features of quality sites. What’s more, there is usually malware attached to their files.
